Payment of public sector workers salaries to delay
The Controller and Accountant-General's Department has said February salaries at all Public Sector Workers who are paid through the Government of Ghana Mechanized payroll will delay.
A statement issued in Accra yesterday, and said salaries for February will start from February 29, 2012, instead of the earlier published date of February 21, 2012.
The statement said the delay is as a result of some technical challenges the Department encountered during the February payroll process.
